Apply for a role at ClickHouse
This company is building one of the most interesting analytics products out there, and it seems they are growing like crazy.
So, it’s a great way to be part of the company today. There are several open roles there you can find on its Careers page.
Some ideas to stand out?
- Read its Engineering blog, especially those posts with deeply technical content like this one. this one and this one
- Download and play with the product. If you know C++ (or are willing to learn) even better. Bonus point: navigate to Issues, pick an easy task (good for new contributors), fix it, and send a PR about
- In my other newsletter (AWS Graviton Weekly # 87), I shared an upcoming event where the CTO of ClickHouse will discuss with the AWS team how the company is using the new Amazon EC2 R8g instances, powered by AWS Graviton4. Be part of that event, and take a lot of notes. Write a detailed document on how to do the same with another major cloud provider like Google Cloud Platform. Hint: The new Google Axion is an Arm-powered CPU like AWS Graviton4, so perhaps the same strategies could work.
Apply today and let me know how it went.
Good luck with your job application
